Who is Love 2 Live Care Services?
Love 2 Live Care Services has been in business since 2003. We are also a member of The Senior’s Choice Network, which has been providing non-medical care to seniors for over 17 years. We offer affordable help to families caring for elderly loved ones by providing compassionate, professional caregiving. Our personalized services are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, throughout San Diego County.
Love 2 Live aims to increase the quality of life for our clients by offering enrichment activities for them. We have hosted various outings throughout San Diego including trips to Seaport Village and Balboa Park. The clients and caregivers who attend these events find great joy and fulfillment interacting with others and enjoying what San Diego has to offer.
We are also an information and referral service for seniors. Our community of mature adults is growing everyday and we’re proud of the friendships we have created.
As employees of Love 2 Live Care Services, our caregivers are highly qualified and carefully selected individuals. Every caregiver is thoroughly screened, bonded and insured. Most importantly, our employees are dependable, warm and caring people.
Scheduling Coordinator
Kevin Hannahoe is the Scheduling Coordinator, responsible for making sure each client is matched with the right care giver. He will maintain the weekly schedule ensuring that clients and care givers are notified of any changes in a timely manner. Kevin welcomes honest feedback to ensure our clients are receiving the care and attention they need, and that our care givers are happy in their work environment. Kevin has a long-standing passion of working with the elderly and over five years experience in a variety of senior-focused settings. He also assisted in caring for both of his grandmothers as they aged and more heavily relied on care from those around them. Kevin has a B.A. in Communications from Susquehanna University (Selinsgrove, Pa.) where he was an active leader and was named the Outstanding Senior Male.
HR & Recruiting Administrator
Marlee Leavitt is the HR & Recruiting Administrator and is responsible for all things relating to HR. She ensures that Love 2 Live hires caregivers with the highest level of compassion, integrity, and those that truly enjoy caring for others. Marlee joins Love 2 Live with almost 20 years of HR and staffing/recruiting experience. Marlee has an open door policy as it relates to any human resource-related issue, striving for fair and quick problem resolution. Service excellence is what drives Marlee; service to our clients as well as each and every employee. Marlee discovered a passion for serving the senior population as a candy striper in high school and led several Girl Scout projects benefitting senior citizens. She called on that passion to assist her family with her grandmother™s needs over an extended period of time. Marlee is a long time San Diego resident and is pleased and excited to bring her career to Love 2 Live Care Services.
Director
Sheila Korn is the Director and oversees all operations. Sheila opened Love 2 Live Care Services in 2003 with the determination to offer personalized non-medical home care to mature adults who want to remain independent and active in their home. Sheila personally meets clients and their families and works with them to assess their needs and setup care. Sheila is a Member of the Elder Care Resource Team, Member of the San Diego Fall Prevention Task Force, Member of the Better Business Bureau, Member of Rotary 33, and Member of The Senior's Choice Network. Sheila is committed to supporting our community through work events and personal volunteerism. Sheila is also the Vice-President of the Board of Directors for The Tierrasanta Village Project, which is a not-for-profit organization that will offer its seniors activities and concierge services.
